Gail Deckert
Experience/Education:
Gail has been actively working as a registered nurse for past 35 years. She is a graduate of Chicago School of Massage Therapy, Chicago's oldest massage educational institution. She received Massage Certification in 1989 and National Certification in 1994. She has been working with Wheaton Massage Therapy since 1989.
Massage Techniques:

Therapeutic stress reduction massage, Classical Full Body Swedish, Cranio/ Sacral Technique, Myo-Facial (deep-tissue), Ligament Techniques (trained with Dr. Ben Benjamin), Reflexology, Acupressure, Acumed or Acustim treatments, Sports Massage.

Molly Farrell
Experience/Education:
Massage therapist since 1991. Graduated from the Wellness and Massage Training Institute in Woodridge in 1993. Many continued education classes through the years. She has been with Wheaton Massage Therapy since 1996.

Eclectic; Swedish relaxation with many of the techniques I have learned throughout the years. Including: deep tissue, position and release, pre and post natal, trigger point therapy and stretches.

Gayle E. Koehler
Experience/Education:
Gayle graduated from Wellness and Massage Training Institute in 1997. She is also a member of American Massage Therapy Association and nationally certified (NCBTMB). She has been with of Wheaton Massage Therapy since 1994.
Type of Work:
Predominately Swedish techniques with an integration of myofascial release and mobilizations. Also trained in foot reflexology.
Philosophy:
One of the basic qualifiers of living beings is mobility. The degree of our ability to move - mentally, physically or psychologically - corresponds to our quality of life. My therapeutic motto "freedom through movement" reflects the intentionality from which I work and my ultimate goal for each client.

Maryanne Palermo
Experience:

I graduated from NUHS (National University of Health Sciences) in Lombard, IL in August 2003. At NUHS I completed an extensive 645 hour therapeutic massage program. My course work included clinical anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, ethics/communication. I continue to educate myself in massage therapy through continuing education course. I am nationally certified and a member of the ABMP (Associated Bodywork & Massage Professional).

I have worked at Wheaton Massage Therapy since I graduated in 2003 providing clients with pain/stress relief and pain/stress management. I also work with many mothers-to-be providing relief from low back, sciatic or just giving comfort during there pregnancy.

Joy E. M. Rudnicki
Experience:
Joy graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in August, 1987.
She is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She has been with Wheaton Massage Therapy since October 1987
Type of Work Practiced:
Joy specializes in reduction of stress and muscle soreness through therapeutic full body massage by using many different techniques learned over the years, but mostly Swedish with Trigger Point therapy.
Philosophy Statement:
Massage is truly part of health's maintenance and not a frivolous luxury. If you take care of yourself by receiving massage you are better able to give more nurturing care to others and not get quite so overwhelmed.

Judy Walejeski
Experience/Education:
Attended Chicago School of Massage in Chicago. Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois for 25 years. Ben Benjamin Certification in neck, lower back, and shoulder.

She has been a massage therapist since 1997 with Wheaton Massage. She has also been a hospital pediatric staff nurse for 17 years at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
Type of Work:
Swedish, neuromuscular massage, pregnancy massage, therapy for relief of chronic pain using friction to ligaments (Ben Benjamin Technique).
Hours:
hours all good except Thursday hours need to be removed along with the word wyndemere.

 

June Zackrison
Experience/Education:
June graduated from Northern Prairie School of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork in Sycamore Il, June 2001.

She has been a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) Professional Level, since 2001.

She's has also had membership in the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCTMB) since 2001.

Sandra graduated from The Soma Institute in Chicago in 2007. She is nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). She is an Advanced Practitioner of Neurostructural Integration Technique (NST),(Advanced Bowen) and has completed training by the Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education (CARE) for Chemistry of Essential Oils and Raindrop Technique.
Type of Work:
Balance to heal with regular massage. The society we live in promotes stress and throws the body out of balance which promotes disease. Massage helps to restore the body to the parasympathetic “relax and rebuild” state which promotes balance or homeostasis – the body’s preferred state.
